On the 28th of October 2024, Professor Akanksha Rathore conducted a seminar on “Collective Intelligence and Eco-Informatics”, focusing on the application of AI for the understanding of nature.
The seminar focused on applying computation, along with ecology and behavioral science, to understand animal movement, social interactions, and ecosystems. The seminar also emphasized the application of swarm intelligence, UAVs, remote sensing, and deep learning to understand wildlife.
The seminar ultimately provided insight into how AI can contribute to understanding complex environmental issues.
