On the 28th of October 2024, Professor Akanksha Rathore conducted a seminar on “Collective Intelligence and Eco-Informatics” at F-106, focusing on the application of AI for the understanding of nature.
The seminar was based on the application of computation, along with ecology and behavioural science, for the understanding of the movement of animals, their social interactions, and their ecosystem. The seminar also emphasized the application of swarm intelligence, UAV, remote sensing, and deep learning for the understanding of wildlife.
The seminar ultimately provided an idea of how AI can contribute to the understanding of complex environmental issues.
